Vtg African American Black History Scrapbook Ephemera 30s 40s Athletes WWII era Military Society and Advertisements. There are a few hand draw pictures and a couple of loose clippings that are just pictures. The book itself is in rough shape.

The cover is worn, the pages are toned and chipped and most are loose from the binding. Some of the loose clippings are chipped or creased. A few are dated from the 40s and a few I've been able to date by the subject matter.

The name on the inside cover belonged to an African American woman who lived in the Mississippi Delta and who passed several years ago. I was unable to trace any family as it appears she never married or had children. There are 16 filled pages and 13 loose items.

A truly rare collection of ephemera. This will be packaged carefully to preserve all the pages in transit.
