[Photo Album]: African-American Amusement Park Album. Title: [Photo Album]: African-American Amusement Park Album Publication: Nantasket Beach, Massachusetts: circa 1970s. Glossy green paper boards with "photo album" stamped in gilt and an illustration of a French boy holding a newspaper measuring 5.5" x 7.5". A collection of 52 color photos housed in a spiral bound photo album without captions except for a label stating it was made for Uncle Aaron.
Near fine with some toning and rubbing on the boards. The album depicts an African-American family enjoying a day at Paragon Park and Nantasket Beach presumably, from the clothing, in the 1970s. The group includes three young girls and a boy going on amusement rides, roller coasters, the Ferris wheel, and bumper cars, and a distant shot of them running in the Atlantic ocean.
Towards the end of the album there are various portrait shots of the girls and, presumably, their father, along with outdoor photos taken around what appears to be the families home, and some of the girls goofing off and posing on a car.
